Vertical block spacing
Click the gear icon on the Block Edit and scroll to "Default Block Spacing" and turn it off, then adjust the spacing with the sliders. This is one edit I fnd myself using on just about every page. The default spacing on the blocks is too much for me, some of the spaces between actual content with the default setting almost make it seem as if there is nothing but white space below.

By using proper vertical spacing (more commonly known as padding) between content creates a nice natural flow to your page. I find myself using 30 pixels a lot but your tastes may vary. And content too close together is crowded and distracting, so it's more important than one may think at first glance.
